Sheriff releases marijuana activist's claim of “assault by bodily fluids” | Crime
The King County Sheriff's office has released a statement that medical marijuana advocate Steve Sarich has accused detectives of assaulting him with “bodily fluids”. The statement says Sarich has accused detectives of spreading human feces on the wall behind his bed and nightstand while they searched his home.
A search warrant was served on Sarich’s residence on Mar. 15 after five people allegedly broke into his Kirkland home resulting in an exchange of gunfire.
Today's news release reported that Sarich was testing the substance and that he was willing to take DNA tests to prove it is not his feces.
The King County Sheriff's office did not deny the assault or suggest they would investigate the claim. However, the release did mention that they were investigating Sarich after finding 350 marijuana plants in his home.
